We're going back in time to when the world began,
To when the earth was formed and God created man,
When everything was good and just as God had planned.
We're going back in time, see Noah build the ark,
See all the plagues of Egypt and the Red Sea part,
And watch the Israelites enter the promised land.

The future is a mystery, but we can see from history,
That God is in control of everything.
So when we face adversity, remember in the end we'll see,
That God is in control of everything.

We're going back in time to when He came to earth,
To hear the angels singing of a Saviour's birth,
To watch Him heal the sick and help the blind to see.
We're going back in time to when he bled and died,
To see the empty tomb "Yes, Jesus is alive!"
The greatest man who lived in all of history.
