Prayer is the special word we use to describe talking to God. God wants us to talk to him.
Here is a prayer Jesus taught his followers:
Our Father in heaven Hallowed be your name Your kingdom come Your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven Give us today our daily bread Forgive our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us And lead us not into temptation But deliver us from the evil one For yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever Amen
Does this make you think about the people in our story today?
Use an old cereal packet or shoebox. Paint the inside. Cut out and colour fish shapes And seaweed. Stick some on the back and thread some cotton through others so they are 'swimming'. Use stones and shells for the seabed. Have fun!
